Cell Biology and Physiology
The Cell Biology and Physiology group focuses on fundamental biological homeostatic processes such as cell proliferation, migration, differentiation, and programmed cell death.
Emphasis is on how these processes are controlled through interactions between specific membrane transport proteins, cell adhesion molecules, plasma membrane receptors, and their binding partners and associated signalling pathways, and how these events in turn impact on important physiological and pathophysiological conditions in development and tissue homeostasis.
For additional information, please see the homepages for the four individual laboratories in the group.
