Golgi is a biotech start-up company engaged in recombinant membrane protein production. The present focus of Golgi is production of Aquaporins (water channels located in cell membranes) on the kilogram scale.

The company is partly funded by the Danish Innovation Foundation as it is an integrated part of the IBISS platform (Industrial Biomimetics in Sensing and Separation) and partly by private investors. Professor Per Amstrup Pedersen at the Department of Biology is one of the four co-founders.
