Protein sequence-function relationship studies by means of genetics and chemical biology

We are developing methods for geneticly assaying the stability of proteins in E. coli and yeast. These methods allow us to, in principle, determine the in vivo stability of any protein in vivo. We are using these methods to stabilize designed proteins.
