Flooding of agricultural soils has a huge impact on food production worldwide, and number and severity of floodings are expected to increase within decades due to climate changes. I work with flooding tolerance in plants, both wild plants (Rumex sp.) but recently mainly crops such as wheat (Triticum aestivum) and rice (Oryza sativa) when fields become flooded. You can also find my publications on researchgate.net.
