Big Research Infrastructure Grant to Section of Microbiology

The grant will make it possible for Section of Microbiology to establish a new Centre for DNA Analysis (CoDoN) focusing on long-read sequencing. The aim of the new facility is to provide a unique centre for cross-disciplinary R&D in Denmark, that will provide novel opportunities for research and promote collaboration between a wide range of disciplines.

The new centre will provide new cost effective and reliable long-read sequencing research tools to scientists, clinicians, and enterprises in biomedicine and natural sciences, and will ensure that non-specialists can explore these new research avenues without advanced laboratory or analytical infrastructure.

For more information, you are welcome to contact Professor Søren Sørensen whom will be in charge of the new Centre.
