Our projects are focused on the following aspects:

·       Regulation of epidermal progenitor cells self-renewal and differentiation

·       Contributions of stromal cells to the skin stem cell niche in homeostasis

·       Contributions of stromal cues in cancer stem cell maintenance and tumor progression

We will introduce you to the latest research knowledge in this area.

Our laboratory uses cutting-edge technologies in cell imaging, expression analyses, cell and mouse genetic systems in close collaboration with other leading researchers in the Department and across different national and international institutes.

Anvendte metoder:Primary cell cultures, flow cytometry, siRNA/shRNA-mediated gene silencing, cell cycle analysis, cell proliferation and apoptosis assays, immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, real-time quantitative PCR, gene expression analysis, mutagenesis, bioinformatics analyses, histology, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, live cell imaging techniques.
