The forest area in Denmark and Europe is increasing due to afforestation (planting new forest on former arable land), but at what rate do such new forests become habitat for forest-dependent organisms? You may empirically investigate this question in the field and/or in a GIS analysis based on the Biodiversity Map of Denmark (
