Effects of year-round horse grazing in a heterogeneous urban nature reserve
In an area in Gladsaxe, konik horses have been released in 2020. A number of permanent vegetation plots were surveyed before the start, covering the variation in topography, hydrology and vegetation structure from open to forested. By re-surveying these plots, the effects of year-round grazing can be assessed. In addition, the area use of the horses may be followed and analysed.
