RESEARCH FOCUS AND INTERNATIONAL RELEATIONS

Research focus: molecular mechanisms of primary cilia assembly, maintenance, and function.

International relations: Joint publications and/or active collaborations with researchers from >11 countries. Since 2020: partner in three EU-funded projects/consortia, including MSCA-ITN-2019 “SCilS-Studying Ciliary Signaling in Development and Disease”; HORIZON-HLTH-2022-DISEASE-06-04 “Therapies for Renal Ciliopathies”; HORIZON-MSCA-2023-DN-01-01 “Cilia-AI”. 2018: Main organizer of the EMBO Workshop “Cilia 2018”, Scandic Copenhagen, DK. 2010-2013: Coordinator of the Nordic Cilia and Centrosome Network.
