15:10     Reception

All are welcome!

Hans Henrik Bruun: "Throughout my academic life, I have studied communities of plants, insects and fungi. I have tried to figure out how communities are assembled, what levels of species richness those assembly processes have resulted in, how the resulting species composition affects ecosystem processes, and what all that means to our attempts to protect nature and biodiversity. In this talk, I sum up some of the main findings and share my thoughts on what they can tell us about the relationships between humans and all the non-human inhabitants of Planet Earth".
