Guest researcher, Visiting researcher
My main research focus is on marine annelids. I am interested in the evolution of this diverse group of animals and use molecular phylogenetic methods to assess their relationships, while studying their morphology using a variety of advanced bioimaging techniques.
Currently, I am working on an ultrastructural and molecular characterization of chaetogenesis in the bone eating worm Osedax japonicus as part of my Marie Curie Project CHAETA, (funded by the European Commission, grant no. 896938) in the lab of Katrine Worsaae.
