David Nash will be a good mentor for students interested in:
ecology, evolution, conservation, population genetics, insects, statistical analyses
Profile
I come originally from England, where I got my Bachelor degree and PhD from the University of Oxford, after which I did postdoctoral work at Imperial College at Silwood Park, the University of Bath, and the University of Bern, Switzerland. I moved to Denmark in 1998, and have been a lektor (associate professor) at the department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen since 2009. My interests are in interactions between different species, particularly insects, ranging from mutualism to parasitism, social evolution (and social insects), spatial ecology, animal behaviour, conservation, population genetics and statistical analysis.
Education
I teach conservation, evolutionary ecology and experimental design and statistics for biologists.
