Special attention is put on connections betweenscience and decision-making in regard to development, implementationand revision of evidence-based nutrient managementstrategies. Two strategies are presented and analysed: the DanishAction Plans on the Aquatic Environment and the eutrophicationsegment of the Baltic Sea Action Plan.
